The Startup Mahakumbh to commence on Monday; over 2,000 ventures to showcase innovations

The Startup Mahakumbh, set to commence on Monday, is poised to welcome over 2,000 ventures, with indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may grace the event with his presence, according to a statement from a high-ranking government official on Sunday.

During the curtain raiser event of the Startup Mahakumbh, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), highlighted the significant government support for the expansive three-day startup ecosystem gathering at Pragati Maidan from March 18.

Singh expressed optimism about the Prime Minister's attendance, despite the formalities associated with the recent election announcement. He stated, "We hope to secure the Prime Minister's presence at this event. Although there are procedural considerations following the election announcement, we remain hopeful of his participation."

The Startup Mahakumbh aims to provide a platform for startups to showcase their innovations and collaborate within the burgeoning entrepreneurial landscape of India.
